Team Work!
I think I mentioned in my last post that I was taking care of my friends baby. Well, I got to take care of both of her kids this week as well. I have been able to watch alot, alot of CARTOONS...Yay! Like the Backyardigans, Mickey's Clubhouse, Disney movies, and the Wonder Pets. (Those are the little fellows on the picture) They are my inspiration for this post.
You see, these little cute pets have a song that is so catchy...
."We’re not too big, And we’re not too strong, But when we work together, We’ve got the right stuff"...and..
"What's going to work- Team work, What's going to work- Team work." (just watch the show:)
I have started to help out in the kid's ministry at FRC Doral. I am learning alot about the importance of teamwork. It can become easy to be given a responsibility and keep it all to one's self. Reminds me of the passagae of the parable of the talents and the passage about the church being compared as one body, but with many parts. I've been getting to know my volunteers little by little and I am so grateful to serve with them. I am doing something that I feel so not prepared to do, but it's great to know that Christ has opened the door and if He wants me there, nothing is stopping His plan until He decides.
With any role of leadership, Christ has really been teaching me that whatever is given to me, to go ahead and pass it out, build teams, build other leaders, give it away. So, I just wanted to share and introduce to you the little "Wonder Pets" and how this pre-K show teaches us that we can do things, and do it better, with teamwork- a team on the same path and passion- in this case, our children who will be the next Jesus' followers, future leaders, and future hope. I am so excited!

God is so faithful...
At the moment, I am watching Monsters Inc. with one of the cutest babies I know...Joshua A. He is about 15 months and he is so good and gorgeous. I get to watch him until thursday. My weekend was good. Pretty much at church all day, but so worth it. On Sunday, FRC Doral had so many car situations. It started with our propresenter guy whose car broke down in the middle of the turnpike. Then the keyboard player totally swirved his car into a ditch, almost the canal. And then, while Heredes and I were driving to the 5 pm service, our tire popped off the rim. After 2 hours one of the leaders at Doral helped and changed the tire. So it was a pretty interesting car Sunday.
Yesterday I received one of the most exciting news EVER. And I just have to share it because God, time and time again, teaches me to trust Him and to work hard because He is faithful to bless. So here goes...Since I am studying art education, we teachers are so blessed with taking like tons of exams (which I am horrible at)..to be part of the school of education I have to pass the General Knowledge exam. Let's say I procrastinated a bit and just took it in April... It was so important that I pass at least 2 of the 4 subtests. Well, yesterday i received the test scores in the mail...and God totally answered my prayer exactly as what was in my heart. I passed the english, reading and essay...I missed passing the math section by like 20 points. I am totally excited...this means i can focus only on the math section for the test in July...So that will be just as important because if i dont pass it, it means i can't continue to register for my remaining 4 classes and do my internship in january and graduate..., but i am not going to worry...gonna work hard and study and pass!
I can't express how God has been so faithful, not only in my life, but specifically in my schooling...He has provided time after time, even when I didnt', don't, deserve it. So pray with me for this test and I will keep you updated ...:)
Leaving you guys with some verses that God gave me a couple of years back with another school situation I had...Reminder that He takes care of His own...Matthew 6:25-34 (read it all if you can) v.26 "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? v. 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life" finish reading , its so awesome.

We are back from Vacation
Since our honeymoon, Heredes and I have gone to Orlando at least once each year and we just got back on Friday from our 2007 Orlando trip. We left Wednesday morning- 6:00 am and got there around 10:00 something. Each time we go to Orlando, specifically Disney, I love it more and more. I am an amusement park fanatic. We did one park, Epcot, and wow did the Lord totally bless us. Let's just say we spent a grand total of 20 cents at Epcot. Awesome or what!!!! I mean, that includes our tickets and food. Everything!! 20 cents!! We started with the countries, since we missed that the last time we went. We ate at Germany. I was a bit worried about the food, but it totally rocked. We rode the rides and had dinner in Mexico and watched the beautiful fireworks. I mean, God even blessed us with the best seats in the whole park. With all the fires, the weather was up and down. It started off a bit smokey, then it was just gorgeous, and as we left the park we got rained on. lol. It was a great way to end the day....running in the rain with the one you love and finding our car.
On thursday we had a timeshare meeting...so longggg and boringgg... We stayed at the Liki Tiki Village. It was cute. Later that night we went to Downtown Disney and fought our flesh not to go see Cirque Du Soleil's, La Nouba, again. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe. Friday was our last day in Orlando. We did some shopping and ate at a Brazilian buffet. I'll tell you, it's hard going to Orlando for more than a day and only hit one park...I was so tempted to go to Islands of Adventure and Disney World...but hey, our trip was fabolous and can't complain. You can check some of our pics on my blog and on Heredes' blog. Thanks for reading :)

Why Girls, Why???
Last night was the season finale of the Amazing Race All=Stars. Because of the heavy storm last night, Heredes and I watched it today because we have T.Vo. We practically missed all of the episode because of the storm, but we did have the ending. Unfortunatly, my favorite team, the beuty queens Dustin and Candice came in stinkin' SEcond place. I almost cried..They were so awesome. They really should have won. I am happy that Mirna and Charla didnt win though.. that would have been more depressing. I really love that show..One day Heredes and I will be traveling the world in this awesome competition. And we would totally win ...lol...Another great show is Heroes..Two more episodes before we find out how these heroes will save the world and who will finally kill Sylar. Can't wait!
Well, I am very excited to share that Heredes and I will be leaving on Wednesday morning to Orlando. We will be going to Epcot and enjoy the countries and the FOOD.. You guys know how i am with food. Yum!!! It will just be great. Nice time to be together and relax and take lots of pics. well, I am out...time for bed.

Ta-Dah! I started my blog.
This is my first blog ever! Heredes is going to be very surprised and excited to see that I have finally started a blog. I don't know how good I am going to be at this (since my husband is like a blog master), but I think I can share a couple of cool things with those who choose to read. Since it is late, I will keep this short. I had a great day today! I woke up early with my husband and we went to church to set up for service tomorrow. We had delicious, fatty Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Yum-o. I learned how to set up the children's room. Super fun and easy. I am truly getting more and more excited being at FRC. I give you all the glory Jesus and thanks for this opened door. It has been a good and at times hard transition, but a great refreshment and answer to prayer. He is soooo faithful! I love my church!!! My prayer, and you can join me in this, is that I would seek after God's will and direction for my life as a daughter of Christ. I want to learn to do the best I can for Him and Him alone.
So yea, later today i went to a wedding and had dinner with the ladies: my mom, my sis, and my friend tammy. I am calling it a night... we have a bright and early morning tomorrow.
